Workout Wednesday: Spring Forward

It's finally starting to feel like spring! Kind of, at least.  We've had a few days that were pretty gorgeous, the snow is starting to melt, and we did the whole spring forward/lose an hour of sleep thing last weekend.  And I've eaten corned beef and cabbage more than once.  That seems like spring to me.

I'm choosing to ignore the fact that it's supposed to randomly get cold and maybe snow a few times over the next few days.  Focus on the positive!

One thing that I'm really looking forward to about the spring is being able to get outside for workouts more often - rollerblading, biking, maybe starting to run a bit again.  Even just walking the dog without having to bundle up first!

But, until it's officially nice enough to do that, I've had to come up with some new ways to get in a good workout inside without wanting to cry from the monotony of doing yet another gym (or home!) workout.  I mean, my gym is fine and all, but there's only so long that I can stare at those white walls.  They don't even have fun/lame motivational quotes on the walls or anything.

I've found that classes and videos are a great way to mix things up a bit.  But my gym doesn't have classes early morning, which is when I usually work out, and I think my neighbors downstairs might get a little mad if I start jumping around to a cardio video at 5:30 in the morning.  So, I came up with this quick, easy, fast paced, and sweaty interval workout.

This is a great workout that you can do at the gym with heavier weights, or at home or on the go with a resistance band.  And, when it's nicer out, you can totally take this outside.

Enjoy!
